Can't say that I've seen much work better on Proton than Windows

There might not be many, but they are certainly out there.

Not wine per se, but you can use wine libraries or stuff like winevdm. Unless you mean using WSL, but then you don't have GPU acceleration, sound?, not even a display (you need a X server).

Why don't you explain clearly what you mean by running wine on windows?

Sounds like wanting to use Wine instead of Windows 98 Compatibility Mode for older games that work better on Wine+Linux than on Windows 8 to 10.

PES 2019 works fine with Proton 4 for me, but the sound is missing (at least in part) on Proton 5.
Am I the only one with the problem? Did I miss some setting?
