and Stream Output already made it into proton! https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Pro...6/CHANGELOG.md

man this stuff is going at mach 4 but given all the parties were involved in the development, it is less surprising

edit: it seems you already updated the article, man my mach 4 number now seems low

3.16-1 is available for selection in the Steam client. Quite a jump....wine 3.7 base to wine 3.16 base, and transform feedback all in one go.

I just picked up Dark Souls 3 so this is great news. I'm having the resolution issue mentioned but Proton is updating as we speak.

For those wondering, the transform feedback extension https://www.khronos.org/registry/vul...sform_feedback has a list of employees of basically everyone apart from MS and Apple listed as "contributors", even a mercenary developer paid by some company that is left unnamed.

"So... is TW3 on Proton 3.16 beta completely playable now?"

Should be, but you still need the updated Vulkan drivers.

By the way: how do I get an 1.1.88-compliant RADV driver including Transform Feedback patches?

I guess that would mean a newer Mesa to be installed.

However, the latest I found in the "ubuntu-x-swat/updates" PPA seems to be a couple of days too old.

Oibaf's ppa is building now I'd imagine the Vulkan driver will have the patches. It's rebuilt twice a day not sure if last nights build had them. He supports Cosmic Bionic and Xenial. I moved from Padoka when I upgraded from 18.04 to 18.10 https://launchpad.net/~oibaf/+archiv...aphics-drivers
