This is something that people keep repeating which is no longer true. There was a time years ago when PC gaming was not doing well but pc had a resurgence thanks to digital distribution and is very strong now.
Also don't confuse the decline of overall desktop PC hardware sales with the PC gaming segment of hardware sales.

Yes if it could use both my integrated Intel graphics and Nvidia simultaneously would be cool. Also SteamVR.

It's already here. Multi-gpu was tackled in Vulkan 1.1 and we have conformant drivers.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be the first real release we can test it on. Unless Feral omits this feature...

I have two Sapphire Nitro R9 Fury's and a Ryzen 1700X and I've tried RotTR on Windows with multi GPU. With a single GPU it works slightly better with DX12, but with multi GPU it actually performed better using DX11, but with either API I saw some crazy micro-stuttering so I think it's better to play on a single GPU. The performance boost from multi GPU was disappointing anyway and it runs really well on a single GPU.

Rise of the Tombraider will be interesting for bench marking cross-platform gaming performance . Mac pros have 2 cards. Nevermind metal does not have this feature.

The 2013 tomb raider game is already out on Linux. This is the sequel to that...

Oh and look what was fixed today:

Tomb Raider 2013 ran under Wine (which is how I played it) well before Feral finished their port (or even announced that it would be getting a port IIRC). It looks like Feral beat the Wine developers this time around for those looking for a perfect experience under GNU/Linux despite the above Wine fixes due to https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43479 still being an issue. However looking at https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManag...sion&iId=33591 it seems Rise of the Tomb Raider is playable on GNU/Linux today if one doesn't care too much about running into occasional graphics issues.
