      Sure, is like today models on a catwalk: skin ans bones are a muss have for their success, and this trend begin to expand in coding too...
      But for the sake if clarity, was not better to write "23181 deletions and 0 additions" ?

        Apples to oranges. Skinny models with bones showing is:

        1) Unhealthy
        2) Sets a bad example for regular people

        Neither of those apply to coding. Skinnier code isn't unhealthy and it's not always bad to remove code. It also doesn't set a bad example because it's not always bad and because less code = better optimization in some cases.
