    Phoronix: Linux 4.12 Should Be Another Exciting, Featureful Cycle

    If all goes according to plan, the Linux 4.11 kernel will be officially released this weekend and therefore the Linux 4.12 merge window will immediately open for two weeks. There is a lot on our radar for Linux 4.12...

    Is there a PPA, AUR or some other automated build for a kernel with DC/DAL merged?

      BTRFS is also getting a bunch of raid56 patches. Lots of modified scrub code

          Ummm.. Dumb question? do you happen to have the details on how to go about adding that repo? I can't seem to find it...

            lordheavy's one is mesa-git, see here https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=212819
            Code:
            [mesa-git]
            Server = http://pkgbuild.com/~lcarlier/$repo/$arch
            This is the post talking about that kernel package https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic....77686#p1677686

            For the one in AUR, see arch wiki's page about it. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php...ser_Repository

            You can also use a user-friendly frontend like Yaourt to list/download/compile/install packages from the AUR https://astrofloyd.wordpress.com/201...on-arch-linux/
            or others https://www.maketecheasier.com/aur-h...or-arch-linux/

              don't forget to write an article about features that probably will not land in 4.12.
