CoreFreq is a CPU monitoring open-source software.
It is a research project, mainly based on datasheets, specifications, Kernel source code.
Fully developed with a Core i7-920, also tested with Core 2 Duo and also K7, CoreFreq is stable with mainstream 64-bits processors.
Need to add codes for DP & MP architectures (Xeon, Opteron), but also AMD Families 14, 15, 16, 17 ; let me know if you want to contribute: for example, implement or test algorithms specific to those processors.
The experimental state of CoreFreq is the Uncore with a focus on the IMC (various DRAM timings, channels geometry, DIMM population and so on)
