    If he claims it is easily auditable, he should have it audited. Until then, I'm not touching it. Certain configurations of openvpn+openssl have been audited by people who know cryptography, so those are preferable until then.
    Also the lack of ports is a pity. One of the strengths of openvpn is that it has ports for just about everything.

      1. Who said it hasn't been audited already?
      2. More auditing is always better than less. It's not a given that a single audit finds everything.

        I think you'll find he was referring to ports for various operating systems, which will be more of a challenge here due to being kernel-mode and coupled with existing kernel interfaces.
