Windows 10's latest update package is called 'Anniversary Update', and this is the best Linus can come up with?

Yeah, makes no sense. And not calling it "Roaring Lionus" was a wasted opportunity.

I'm confused: what is it the anniversary of? I mean I get why Windows 10 1607 is called the anniversary update (it was released one year after the initial windows 10 release), but what about 4.10 is an anniversary for the Linux kernel?

Last year was 25th anniversary of linux, so maybe Linus remember of something 5 months after that which might be even more valuable than first message

Windows 10 can be called "One year of shits". Windows != Linux

1st anniversary of Microsoft dropping the ball with Windows 10?

That's my first guess as to the rationale behind this.

linux is much more better than microshit operating systems the only real problem on linux is the high fragmentation of operating systems, a certain rigidity because of dependencies and the absence of "system manager" as well as a device manager and the absence of diagnostic tools.
