    Hopefully future lts kernel would see some point, 4.9 sits there for three weeks... it might not be lts, who knows

      Well, at least I'm able to boot into it and it seems to be working correctly. The rc1 release had some AMD microcode issue or something apparently.

        I have a feeling they are not sure yet whether 4.9 or 4.10 will be the LTS release. But I have not heard anything so this is a gut feeling only.
