    Linux software RAID is wonderful. I have been using it on servers that I administer for over a decade now. It is much easier to manage than proprietary vendor-specific RAID hardware. I have seen how it copes with failures (more than once), and my respect for it has only gone up.

      ... I wonder why write-back is limited to RAID5 and doesn't support RAID6 and 10?
