    hi,

    You done a very interesting test 2 years ago about testing the filessytems for real case scenario in software raid. With the progress of btrfs and the arrival of zfs on linux do you think there is a chance you redo a test like it adding zfs to the mis in a 4.6 LTS context ?

    - btrfs in native raid 1/5/10
    - zfs in native raid1/5/10
    - ext4/xfs/other ? on mdadm raid1/5/10



    this would be quite interesting to see how 2014 compare to 2016 :

    Unfortunately I don't have 4 of the same drives spare at this time, which is why I hadn't tested them in a while. Those disks are all busy in independent systems and unfortunately no funds at the moment for buying 4 more drives.

      well on rainy days some drive can indeed fall from the sky. that's what i heard anyway
