    FWIW pkexec may be preferable to sudo in a GUI if you have PolicyKit. It will give you a nice graphical password prompt that allows you to pick which user to authenticate with. Personally I hope we eventually get a similar fashion to Windows' elevation manifests and code signing utilized so running apps that require special capabilities automatically leads into a credential query and you get to check who signed it and whether your system trusts it. In Wayland this could be made so screengrabbing would be impossible
