    And I am 90% sure you've just invented that 90% claim. :P

    Running flashless for about a year, not missing it at all.

          I'm glad I am not the only one living in a parallel universe. I also have flash version 11.2.202.481 which I downloaded July 10 Friday. Because my browser warned me it was out of date last week.

            Except the last one, which was released a few hours after the block.

                Quite possibly you're in that 10% rung HE stated, and you've instantly invalidated everything thereafter you say about that 90%.
                Hi

                  That's simply not true. I've been using click-to-play for a year now and there have never been problems with GMail for me (no, I did not whitelist it). Or in the vast majority of other sites. I treat the icon for click-to-play content the same way as the icon for "blocked non-HTTPS content": good, and I don't lose anything because of it the vast majority of the time.

                  The only one that I still need Flash in is Twitch, and it's already phasing in the HTML5 bits.

                    At all. Even gmail video calls dont use flash.

                      I've also found that I still need flash for youtube, because the html5 player you get when running linux is quite different to the one I get when on windows and it's very incomplete in comparison... Any ideas on what's up with that?

                      EDIT:
                      So just in case anyone stumbles across this post in the grim dark future of the internet:
                      Go here to find out more here
                      Takeaway points are:
                      Code:
                      about:config
                      -> media.mediasource.enabled;true
                      -> media.mediasource.webm.enabled;true
                      Also, install gst-libav. This will at least give you youtube in full hd!
                      Plus:
                      Code:
                      media.fragmented-mp4.exposed;true
                      media.fragmented-mp4.ffmpeg.enabled;true
