I may have found a performance regression or I did not configure this kernel (4.1-rc7) correctly. Youtube webm videos are choppy and Firefox scrolling is choppy. Everything becomes smooth when I move mouse around continuously during scrolling or watching videos. Kernel 3.16.0 works fine. I ran make oldconfig using the kernel 3.16.0 .config for the 4.1-rc7 build. I'll be back.

If your Radeon HDMI audio stopped working since 4.0 then it might be fixed in 4.1-rc7.
