Why are the code names creepy? Diseased Newt is supposed to relate to ebola?

Oh yay, "drm/radeon: dpm fixes for asrock systems". So now BAPM and Northbridge DPM are disabled on all(?) ASRock systems.

And if you read the bug report: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=85107
You'd see that they still have no idea why it happens. It could still be due to faulty hardware or bad BIOS configuration (I know I've had issues in the past with my APU and BIOS settings with Linux).
And there's only one user in the bug report.

I really, really, hope this won't be one of those cases of 'set and forget'

Nope, just yet another crazy name.

It's far less strange than, say, "Erotic Pickled Herring" or "Err Metey! A Heury Beelge-a Ret!".

          Or possibly a political reference.
