          Ah, that's what it meant that he hasn't sent out a release announcement, I should have known that.

            Unless I missed it, I didn't see any mention of the Radeon CIK regressions that have existed since rc1 being fixed. I also don't see any updates in the mail archive about it.
            I seriously hope the regressions don't manage to make it into 3.15 final.

              I think I remember Linus stating he was not upset at extending the window for rc6.
              Something about looking over all the changes and seeing it was all good.
