Speaking about better input device support, what's going on with LIRC? They were migrating into the kernel, but the kernel LIRC is still not on-par with the userland one. It doesn't behave correctly in SDL apps (and XBMC is one).

Power consumption
Michael, are there any new benchmarks related to power consumption coming?
I've just noticed that kernel 3.10 burns my laptop like hell compared to 3.9.8.
So the temperature from the kernel 3.10 is around 65C, while at 3.9.8 is around 45C. My CPU is Intel Core i7-3610QM.
