    Worth noting, and as seen in the mailing list link, but of course not brought out in the article - 1.1.x is a development series leading up to 1.2.x stable series. Of course those men who don't understand the API concepts will still cry, as it's backwards compatible with 1.0 for the old APIs (and the big APIs only changed in 1.0).
