    As the above benchmarks and user testimony prove, zfs on linux is not slow, so your statement has been proven false. Why the hostility? CDDL ?

          Are there any that can do 3-way mirrors? Not some RAID1E crap, real 3-way mirrors? I pushed through an RFE to HP last year for this and the G8 Smart Arrays can do it, albeit with an extra-cost license. Maybe I had something to do with that, maybe I didn't, but 2-way mirrors suck. I've had the remaining half of a mirror go bad before a failed half could sync up a spare. The larger disks get, the longer this period of vulnerability is.
