  • Linux utility to change FSB speed

    Hi.

I am author of lfsb project http://sourceforge.net/projects/lfsb/
lfsb is lacking feedback, I can't add support for new PLLs blindly, especially when reverse engineering is required.
So people if you like to have a linux utility for overclocking then help.

Yes I know that code is ugly and there is no GUI. But that can change.

Nobody needs linux FSB overclocking today or what? %)

    Recent success story.
Before: CPU frequency : 1994.01 MHz (estimated)
After: CPU frequency : 2492.50 MHz (estimated)
Chip: slg8sp513 FSB change from 266 to 333.

The funny thing: according to datascheet this pll is RO.

I do! And we're in 2020! Bored in lockdown and trying to bring an old netbook from 2007 to life. I brought the single core 1.6 GHz CPU up to 2 GHz in windows XP (SetFSB) with good results and now I'm gonna install Lubuntu and try your software.
