    AMD's in the middle of honoring their commitment to support Coreboot under all future CPUs. AMD has just added support to Coreboot for their Family 12 CPUs with SB900 (Hudson-2) chipset. They've also added AMD Torpedo motherboard support, which is their reference platform for AMD Family 12 CPUs with the SB900 chipset...

        I really want to know WHICH oem wants to use coreboot. There must be tools to extract payloads from existing images, so if the final result has for example uefi support then this payload may be interesting for other users too. Currently there is only a website about coreboot+uefi but the download for it is missing... uefi is something that would be very interesting for me, especially for virtual hardware - as i only have got one snb board with native uefi support. virtualbox has got uefi support too, but it is extremely slow when i want to boot Linux with it. Especially a 64 bit grub efi bootloader is shown as fast as it would do with a very slow modem connection...
