    Yeah and loose real performance boost. Why not JUST change file system or its mount options?

      Scheduler and I/O wait state problems.

      Imagine Buck Rogers in space. He's trying to send back the latest reconnaissance images from the Queen's base. Unfortunately back in the 23'rd century it was decided Slackware 13.1 was to be the stable destined version of a 64 bit operating system to be utilized on long tested and almost forgotten AMD multi-core chips in his starfighter.       But the HUD locks up and so does the fly by wire as Buck is waiting for the isoimage to be created. "90%, come on man"
