    ive tried it with several kernels, first i tried compiling with rpmbuild to fedora's 2.6.36 kernel, then i tried the vanilla 2.6.36 kernel (i backported it to apply on 2.6.36), then i tried 2.6.37-rc2 and git with the original patch, everything applied correctly but always the same error

              Of course there's the long-standing issue of measuring 'responsiveness'. If Phoronix could somehow do that, it would be a real blessing.

                      Not necessarily. I've successfully applied the patch to a vanilla 2.6.36 kernel. The only thing i had to do was to correct two small errors.

                      If someone is interested, here is the patch for kernel-version 2.6.36 :

                      sched_automated_per_tty_task_groups_2.6.36.patch
