Debian 15 maintainers: TRIGGERED. Seriously though, Debian 13 is going to use 6.1. Come on guys.

Debian has become a graveyard. debian developers pay more attention to their hair than to the distribution. I don't understand their course. Are they just going with the flow? this always happens to those who have felt the touch of Microsoft.

Debian 12 is using kernel 6.1
Debian 13 is going to use 6.12

You probably read some malformed documents.

That document seems to be wrong. It states that debian 12 (bookworm) has kernel 5.10 series ;-)

The decision to cut LTS kernel maintenance plans is both stupid and genious. They don't provide same commitment to guarantee +half decade work upfront, but when and if help materializes, the support will be provided.

Probably a renamed copy of the previous version https://www.debian.org/releases/stab...whats-new.html waiting to be updated

I guess it makes sense, given that 6.1 is the next SLTS kernel from Civil Infrastructure Platform anyway.
