Obviously not worth breaking even 2 users. Like legit just leave the fucking code alone.
You are wrong : cleaning up obsolete code is usefull.

Re: [PATCH 09/11] x86: rework CONFIG_GENERIC_CPU compiler flags - Linus Torvalds

You all missed the clickbait linus came see and cursed at x86-64-v1 v2 v3 , if ever it will only get two settings -march=x86-64 and -march=native.

its often still the past of least resistance to getting a distro properly working on 32bit efi systems, Most distros don't ship support for 32bit efi anymore with their 64bit builds

Maybe use the good old BIOS ("CSM") infrastructure for those systems?

He is such a cringe. Linux kernel should be forked, governed by a democratically elected group of people under an organisation, and developed independently of HIS project.

What has democracy has to do with this ?

SCIENCE is NOT BASED on DEMOCRACY, it is based on COMPETENCE.
If you are good you are good, whatever people love you or hate you.

SCIENCE is not a political competition to seduce people to vote for the guy with a nice and friendly behavior !

Even if people don't vote for you and hate your personality, if you are a genious, you WILL DO THE WORK better than anyone !
                That's how SCIENCE works !

Many genious people have a bad personality, but NOBODY cares , because they make the JOB better than anyone in the world.
And people will love them anyway as they do the job, even if those genious are NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT and SWEAR and SPIT on the FLOOR like they dont care.

Wrong. Science is based on the SCIENTIFIC METHOD, which is a way of saying VERIFIABLE DATA.

Nobody gives a shit how competent you are if they can't verify your claims independently, then it's not science.

                      I block Weasel the troll.
I don't have time to explain such basic things.
