Given that almost all of the contributions to the Linux Kernel (including Linus's multi-million dollar salary) is funded by one or more "big business" interests I wonder what you propose going forward? Fork Linux 0.01 (the original release) and only allow people who work for free and sleep on their friend's couches to contribute?

Linux exists in it's current form precisely because big (evil) businesses have decided there is something in it for them and are paying people to improve the kernel. There is no going back at this point.

People like you, and the other poster, are mocking Trump and those that voted for him, claiming he's only for himself and his billionaire buddies yet and that somehow Liberals are for the little man yet Trump is the only presidential candidate, from any party, that has promised the following:

No taxes on tips
No taxes on overtime pay
No taxes on Social Security payments

This is why I decided to vote for him, because even though not a single one of these will benefit me directly, the benefits to the overall economy will be tremendous and will prove that lower taxes are good for everyone, not just the super rich,.

If he can keep these three promises and negotiate an end to both the Russia/Ukraine war and the Israeli/Hamas war/slaughter, then his second term will go down in history as one of the best of any two term president.
