What are you going to use it for?

        For me, Theoreticalâ„¢ improvements

Full sounds better than having some stuff (Voluntary, non-Fully Preempt), so it's all-or-nothing. I think Fedora defaults to Voluntary, but I've switched between preempt=full and none for a while and didn't notice a difference with general desktop usage.

I'm still not sure we really need a real "real-time" Linux kernel or everyone understands it the same way. But maybe I'm wrong.

            who is "we" ?

considering all the effort that has been put into it, I'm pretty sure somebody needs it.

There are hundreds of thousands of RT Linux users who need it. Also the kernel needed it, because the work resulted in removal of the last large lock in the kernel. It's better for everyone even if in this release mostly RT gets to enjoy the benefits as rest is not converted over to the new console and uses legacy paths where possible.

Meaning that even thought console framework is now asynchronous, the console printer is still synchronous except when running RT.

There are even more with not even the faintest idea of what it actually means.
The most common bunch is "I need realtime because it's faster" ...

Will this help PipeWire on desktops?

Congrats, you have just made your kernel slower for no reason at all other than gushing about things you do not understand.
