    I only have a basic understanding from the time I read about it while I was changing my Android phone's distro. It does make sense to have the older kernel as fallback, didn't think of it that way.

    I didn't know systemd was being used in such environments, thanks for sharing

        Haha I actually completely forgot that disk was used there too. To used to typing it I suppose, but that is yet another good reason to not duplicate the term disk again since it is already a subcategory of disk/ anyway
