We are now down to the last day of the Linux 5.15 merge window and one of the patch series we have been waiting to see if it would land during this two week period was the "folios" code -- or that also was recently renamed to "pagesets" to address some concerns over the name...

The downside with that model is that you're hiring yourself the fiercest possible middle manager: The idea is yours, as is the implementation - and then a bunch of folks that you may or may not have a rapport with will nit-pick both to death ("folio" is too obscure, really?)
So yeah, nobody has a right to get something into Linus' copy of Linux, but dealing with that model is also not the most appealing way to spend your time (esp. on vacation).

"folio" is a word in Spanish that comes from Latin "folium" = leaf = sheet (of paper) = a page.
Is Latin not allowed in code now? Is being smart not allowed in code now?
