    I'd like to see an XFS deduplication tool that actually runs fast. The current tools all do synchronous updates and absolutely hammer the drive. It's very slow and pretty much worthless as-is. Or at least it was, last time I checked was years ago.

    The main reason I need this is because I have copies/backups of filesystems and reflink'd files get copied in full, using lots of storage in the copy. I'd like to deduplicate those files back to their original reflink'd storage requirements. It would be nice if there was some way to copy files/filesystems and maintain the reflinks.
