Phoronix: Linux 5.10 LTS Will Be Maintained Through End Of Year 2026

Linux 5.10 as the latest Long Term Support release when announced was only going to be maintained until the end of 2022 but following enough companies stepping up to help with testing, Linux 5.10 LTS will now be maintained until the end of year 2026...

I would like to know if the main progresses on the subsequent kernels will be integrated in 5.10 LTs as the likes of io_uring.

      Very unlikely, like 0.01% likely.

Which kernel should replace the 5.10 release as LTs?

They usually take the last kernel of the year.
          the last where 4.4, 4.9, 4.14, 4.19, 5.4, 5.10
so we can expect or predict something like 5.15 the next LTS.
(everything depends on some extra weeks we have in all those releases)

TLDR; wait until december 2021 and that is the one.
