    On the other hand I wonder how many security bugs is m$ hiding? This makes impossible for many users to secure their systems (for very limited level of course.. it's closed source filled with spyware after all).

      On the subject of DNS resolvers, I've been impressed with Unbound in the last few months. Have it running on linux, my router and a windows partition with good results and lots to tweak, looking forward to seeing it improve further.

        I use Unbound together with dns blocklists.
