First of all these are your words. I did not said anything about you if you re-read it. I was speaking about other people as a warning that there are such people and there are associated dangers with it. I definitely do not want you to be like that and I intentionally avoided to say you are like that. Ok, I might be worrying about it, but that is my problem.

It seems that you really did not got why. When I was trying to explain, you just attacked me that I might envy some score, :-) . Let's leave it. I guess, who wants to find it, it was expressed enough. Maybe, we have so different idea about the world that we might never succeed to explain each other this point. Let's leave it.

Without offense to the much of the content in the forums, or to anybody including you, I would like to have this feature. It would made my life easier. Follow it from my side: I do not have time to read through long discussions that gives me nothing (note: I am not judging content here, just referring to myself). Searching for valuable pieces given by kernel developer experts, AMD guys, etc. then becomes so time consuming and I do not have the time in my busy day. Recent development in Phoronix forums is towards communicating emotions. This will not earn me much of knowledge. So, the ignore list seems to me the logical step to Phoronix forum quality improvement, not judging the quality of any contributor but selecting the information I want to get.

Abott, first of all, I do not hate starshipeleven as you said you does. And you are the first one that start to offend. E.g. I do not consider calling somebody idiot the polite way of communication that respect "everyone's favor to contribute" his own ideas if I can borrow words of starshipeleven. If you did not get what I was trying to communicate, we have nothing more to communicate here. I guess both of us expressed what we intended.

If you think allusions can shield what you were actually doing, you are sorely mistaken, you little shit.

This isn't a case of slandering in the court of law where you can shenanigan around with words to escape justice. This is between me and you, you may escape justice but not my wrath.

It seems that you really did not got why.
Oh I did. You are a little shit, that's why.
You had your chance to actually be a good sir, by just being respectful and clear, maybe even sorry about singling me out wrongly as you did, when I asked clarification about something that was weird and unclear (I didn't immediately assume you are a little shit, written medium can be unclear).

You wasted it by doing more allusions to maquerade offences at me, so now I'm calling you little shit hereafter.

I would like to have this feature.
Stop offending my intelligence, I already know what that feature means, there is no need to convince me.

I'm not opposed to that feature as it does not affect me directly.

But little shits like you don't deserve it, so I'm more inclined to be against it now, just to spite you.

And since I know others have asked and Micheael has already answered (or not answered) in the past I gave you the most likely answer ("no").

Recent development in Phoronix forums is towards communicating emotions.
Not in my experience, it's not been much different from 2015 to now afaik.

Starship, you make a mistake to overuse emotions and act like you would change the world by using them. Emotions are generated in limbic brain that is present in all mammals. However, reason, or you refer it as intelligence, is what is expected to be dominated here in forums. This whole "ignore list" is far less important than your own life where this whole discussion originally started and for which I wish you all the best and many good friends. And you have plenty of occasions a day to show you are a good person, in your life and even in the forums. Through good friends a good life is often shown.
