Hmmm... Does this mean AMD is working on a new card with 4:2:2/4:4:4 encoding support?! :O

Or did they secretly support decoding such material?
AMD is so elusive when it comes to their hardware codec blocks...

Can I use the secret 4:4:4 encoder in my AMD card? I know there is one...

In this context yes, it's YUY2 but there is also this:

    Sure gets confusing.
