Someone wrote V8 backend already? ;-)

I started work on it before, and abandoned it. Somebody else on Freenode was asking me about it, which gave me the impression they were going to give it a shot too. It is... quite a bit of work. The good news is that the backends are getting smaller and smaller over the years, so it may be getting easier all the time.
