Soviet Union was communist in the beginning. Promoting radical feminism, raping rich people, killing orthodox russians, starving ukrainians etc. it became a shithole of murder, rape and civilian war. It's almost funny how you respond to me pointing out that your arguments are predicated on whataboutism with even more whataboutism. Then again in my experience russians and their defenders always respond to criticism of the USSR and post-USSR Russia with whataboutism as if they're taught to do that in school or something.

This isn't hard to understand, but what someone else does or has done simply does not make the similar actions, particularly not even worse actions, of another any better.
