              QEmu is one of the rare few cases where I would like to see a build system rewrite in meson. Just look at this monster:

              7250+ LOC handwritten script.

                Yeah, actually that would be pretty good in order to avoid virtual machine escape / hyperjacking exploits.
                Also some sandboxing technology such as AppArmor, seccomp, Flatpak, Snap.

                  I've been playing a lot with QEMU 2.12, and I thought to myself that this really does feel like a 3.0 candidate. Really exciting times for QEMU!

                    Any chance this release helps making using QEMU as easy as VirtualBox?
                    I really want to Windows virtual machine in my Linux Mint with as close as to native performance.
