  • Best distro for my hardware? any tips?

    guys, lets go strict to the point.

    my hardware is:

    AMD APU A8-7600
    8Gb DDR3 1600 (2x4 in dual channel)
    HDD 1tera 7300rpm
    PSU Coolermaster 350w

    I have tested some distros on this hardware and Im freaking out as the resulkts shows that Im left by Linux..

    I have tested these distros:
    * Ubuntu
    * Debian
    * OpenSUSTE

    I have used these des:
    * KDE
    * GNOME 3
    * CINNAMON
    * DEEPIN

    In all these tscenarios i had the feeling of something wrong with my pc running linux. In all scenaros I experienced slowness and not good performance if compared to the same hardware running windows 7 or 10.

    I would like to have your opinions on what distro and what de to use, and, if possible, what to do to have the best out of the combination proposed?

    I have to say that all these problems didnt occur when running the deepin de on top of ubuntu 17.10. But deepin doesnt have some things i really need, like the clock/calendar applet.

    What would You guys recommend?

    If anyone knows, is that possible to have the KDE time/calendar applet running on deepin? Is that possible to have KDE applets running on deepin de? if so, then, I have my answer to my needs on my hardware. That was the only desktop that had the feeling of everything running great and without any kind of slows..

    Thats all. see ya..
