    Lenny is practically stable. The only reason it was not released is internal politics.

    For all real uses, Lenny is stable now.

    You can install Debian lenny now, but the stable repository is still etch and lenny still testing.

    Is it real, or is it a lie?

    Today I saw on the cover of a Linux magazine (can't remember the exact one) Debian 5.0 DVD.

    The article on how to install it claimed it was 5.0 stable.

    Now, I know the Debian website has 4.0r5 out and that was released 5 days ago.

    So, is the magazine lying?

    I think yes.

    What's your opinion?

    I'll get the exact magazine in a few days.
