Fedora 28 Hopes To Improve Linux Laptop Battery Life

Fedora needs to do everything possible to enable an optimized "tuned" profile with "powertop2tuned" out of the box. If I do that correctly, my battery life is greater than what I can achieve with Windows.

I hope their also doing more on the gnome shell front. There's still some potential for performance/power savin afaik

Edit: also, for daily usage things like firefox webrenderer, vaapi/vdpau, wayland support will hopefully do a lot

Anyway nice to see better out of the box power saving!
