Phoronix: Features For OpenSUSE Leap 42.3

OpenSUSE Leap 42.3 has the finish line in sight and it's scheduled to cross that line by the last week of July. Here's a look at the new features...

Phoronix, Linux Hardware Reviews, Linux hardware benchmarks, Linux server benchmarks, Linux benchmarking, Desktop Linux, Linux performance, Open Source graphics, Linux How To, Ubuntu benchmarks, Ubuntu hardware, Phoronix Test Suite

OpenSUSE Leap 42.2 is the distribution that I've tried most stable with Debian. In the Linux world, if I had to recommend a Debian distribution for Gnome, OpenSUSE with Kde, even if the DE is relative ... OpenSUSE is great with any DE and this is also for Debian.
The old kernel? Maybe that's why it is very stable! And anyway who wants it can get a newer kernel, but then not complain of stability!

Please, also mention that for example the drm stuff is backported from kernel 4.9 - so, AMD Polaris is supported.

This is a kernel from SLES so just like with RHEL there is a bunch of backported stuff, it's not really vanilla 4.4.
