Hi all,
After switching back to Fedora (in release 24) from Ubuntu LTS, I was quite pleased with the overall stability and performance of my System76 Galago, but also had missed that "upgrade cycle every 6 months" and was afraid a bit of the upgrade.
After reading Michael's recommendations on F25, I decided to upgrade directly using the offline upgrade method offered by "Gnome Software". I am amazed that everything is in place and I don't remember having a more smooth upgrade process ever! Even custom compilers are working flawless. The Fedora Community deserves much kudos! If this is a result of the now frequent restarts to get system upgrades, it's good on the desktop.
As far as I can tell, Wayland is rock solid, very stable. Great!
Thank you Michael for reporting on F25!
Cheers,
