Ubuntu Edge was set to fail, the funding goals were far too high and most knew already it couldn't deliver (for the reasons you said). I understand that there are good reasons, what I don't like are stupid PR stunts like that (or the other stunt saying "Mir would be ready way before Wayland").

So you hate everything KDE does due to they did not ship the KDE Tablet after that much PR they did? I doubt it.

That's a different scale. They didn't go and claim it was going to run on a full software stack built from scratch to do flamboyant stuff they were supposed to make in their spare time or something. Nor put out a crowdfunding asking a wildly off-scale price.

KDE's tablet was a tablet, with a new KDE interface, great and all but it was at least possible.

Really, you should stop arguing with haters, because y'know....
