Hopefully they'll keep improving the ARM EFI after releasing stable. The new low cost Allwinner SBCs with uboot on EEPROM are just starting to come out and it would be a real shame if such a convenient feature would end up being limited just to a couple of high cost data center and embedded boards.

Anything that promotes standardization between distributions is always welcome, for better or for worse.

I hope RPM-based distributions will in turn seriously consider Debian's approach to multiarch (/usr/lib/$arch) instead of staying with /usr/lib and /usr/lib64

If you don't mind me asking, whats the benefit? Is there a situation where you would have another arch installed other than the 2?
