    That it is quite a difference. Soon will be time to upgrading Unfortunately that GPU is quite old.

      I tested today's spin (02/13/2016) available at http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ and Gallium is still based in LLVM 3.6 and Mesa is 11.1.1.

        You need to enable xenial-proposed archive is where Mesa 11.1.2 / LLVM 3.8 is currently until hitting the normal archive shortly.

          stupid question, this was radeonsi or r600g ? looks like r600 by the OGL version ....

            IIRC the V7900 is Cayman, so r600.

              Yep, she's Cayman based. All my FirePro cards I have are from the R600 era back when it was easy to even get those sent out for Linux testing :/
