          I love how clean and helpful DNF output is. It helps me understand what stage I am in the install.

          I wish pacman output would give me some kind of clue as to what phase I was in and provide similar formatting.

            I wish pacman output was more like DNF, I love DNF how DNF output lets me know what phase of the upgrade I'm in so I can have some kind of expectation when it would complete.

              I wish DNF was more like pacman, by which I mean so fast I don't even have time to think about how long the updates will take. I'm sure DNF has lots of cool features that make it objectively better than pacman if you actually care about keeping your system uptime high; but for me pacman works fine, way faster than DNF and the commands feel more usable in scripts etc.
