        That's hard to say. Has he published Fedora benchmarks recently?
        Moreover, it's not clear if intel ddx is using sna or not.

          I believe most of these improvements are due to the constantly improved graphics stack. But how much does a relatively high end system (with discrete Nvidia graphics) benefit when it comes to gaming?

            consider as ever PreRelease > UbuntuRelease

            If you want a rock stable and easy Ubuntu release, there is a thousands
            #if specialCaseAttention then ... else ...
            which will cost performance all over the place. I cannot remember any Ubuntu release which wasn't slower than the pre-relase six weeks before.

            Additionaly there are many badly programed hotfixes of some few hours before release. This in contrary to Debian is due to timely releases ...
