Coughlan - hooded-one or one wearing a cloak; son of the one with the cloak

So Little Red Riding Hood and Shadowman had a son. Well good for them.

Those are mostly reasons I'd pick it. I say mostly because no one provides Flats with all the v4 znver4 goodness like CachyOS does and I don't really want to downgrade from that kind of optimization.

Apparently centos 10 supports x86-64 v3. I think that are CPUs from 2013 and newer. I guess I need to continue with RHEL 9

Finally, epel 10. Was missing it since stream 10 isos became available. Now we wait for puppet, foreman and the like to catch up to el10 ...

Kernel 6.12 you say? I thought Stream 10 would use the same kernel as RHEL 10, but that was on 6.11. This could actually make a nice super boring desktop for family machines.

It does, RHEL 10 beta was just a snapshot, its far from being final.

CentOS Stream is where RHEL packages come from.

Kudos to the CentOS team on their release! I'm looking forward to using this for a few projects.
