Nice. There is even gnome and lxqt ISOs. Worth to check.

And more to come... The reason why there hasn't been an official announcement yet is that some of the "surprises" are still building.

A x86-64-v3 build incoming? Would be cool.

Distros with open or semi-open build systems are cool too

          How open is OpenMandriva?

Not this time (but we have a znver1 build, so at least AMD x86-64-v3 is covered). Switching from znver1 to x86-64-v3 and possibly adding x86-64-v4 is in the plans for a future release.

Anything we do is 100% open. Our build system is abf, available at https://abf.io/tour/sources
The only not fully open thing we use is github (seemed to be a good idea at the time because everyone already has an account there anyway, less trouble to sign up to report a bug or send a fix), but we do have local copies of all of our repositories and are prepared to move to a self-hosted https://onedev.io/ instance if and when github messes up.

Please don't. I run an x86_64_v3 distribution and still compile stuff as znver2 due to v3 being too much of a compromise for AMD. Maybe Intel, but I don't have one of those

                Code:
                gcc -Q -march=x86-64-v3 -mtune=generic --help=target > v3.txt
                gcc -Q -march=znver1 -mtune=generic --help=target > znver1.txt

Not sure if that's so great. OpenMandriva, Mageia, and ROSA are already three Mandriva successors (OpenMandriva being the "official" one I guess) that are all spread thin in terms of both developer manpower and market/mindshare. I would prefer to see them join forces and focus on become THE go-to easy-to-use KDE Plasma distro. Like what Suse used to be before they were forced to adopt Gnome after being acquired by Novell. LXQt is fine too as it's Qt based so probably lots of synergies. But who's going to install OpenMandriva GNOME? What's the point? Who's the target user?
