I've been using openSUSE for many years... (not currently, however, because of too much network slowness)

-but it still has no GUI for distro upgrades like there is in ubuntu...
-neither the nice approaches Neon has to updates - allowing users to set Applications to update automatically.

This would be the 2 major points i would like to see in openSUSE (specially the first point...)

Yeah, wtf. Fedora's package manager. I tried it in Fedora 20, and I don't get why anyone would want it over zypper, unless I'm outdated.

Coming from a Fedora/Arch user's perspective, DNF (the current release) is a nice performant CLI package-manager. Not sure if the experience is equivocal on Fedora and OpenSuse, but it comes off as stable and consistent in my office setting. The syntax is simple and the on-screen layout during updates is very clean. Not as fast as pacman, but I like it better than apt for its readability. Not sure if there was any issues with DNF in the past, as I have only been on Fedora KDE since version 29.
